from watching the babysitter’s kids playing it (too young to play), wanting so bad to play it myself, finding a used copy in Maine on family vacation, realizing it wouldn’t work because it was scratched, biking it to the convenience store to get it repaired, waiting a week to go pick it up, finally playing it on PS2, and now playing it on an overkill PC and having insane kill count competitions with Andrew, it’s been a wild ride. love to boot it up often and ride the nostalgia wave.
One of my favourites. Used to play this for hours as a kid without getting bored, sure it's a little barebones in some ways I guess but it really did nail that feeling of being on a Star Wars battlefield. It can feel really chaotic at times but that just makes it more fun! It's also really easy to pick up and play meaning it's super easy to get your splitscreen on with a buddy
