all of the alpha games are really great! the artstyle, cast, gameplay, and ost are really well done! my favorite being alpha 2

Honestly a brilliant compilation and one that easily manages to surpass more recent collections that Capcom have put out due to its variety and extra content.
What you get here is Alpha, Alpha 2, Alpha 2 Gold, Alpha 3, Alpha 3 Upper (unlockable), Super Gem Fighter Mini Mix and a special version of Street Fighter Alpha that lets you mix and match different versions of characters and lets you use meters and mechanics from each game along with mechanics from the VS series, Darkstalkers and more. Its honestly a gem of a mode. Having a massively comprehensive sound test that allows you to browse through audio for every SF game to that point along with console specific remixes and varient... chefs kiss
If I have to complain, the collection is in dire need of movelists either in the manual or in the pause menus.

So last year I heard about Street Fighter 6 (the Rules and Regulations Extreme theme was the reason I wanted to buy that game) and this was used as a means to find a possible main, only one I meshed with was Sakura and it was still a learning curve compared to Tekken but having a few teething problems as getting used to Street Fighter's control scheme has taken some getting used to.
A collection that actually adds new features! We don't get too many of those sadly. You can play several Versions of the Alpha Games including a Version of Alpha 3 with the bigger Roster of the PS1 Version (sadly without any of the other PS1 Features like World Tour or the insane Turbo Options)
The biggest draw of this collection is Hyper Street Fighter Alpha which includes every Version of every Character from the Alpha Series plus it also adds new ISMs like a Darkstalkers one with Chain Combos or a SF3 one with Parries and Super Cancels. My only problem with Hyper Alpha is that it only has 3 Backgrounds which I will never understand.
You can also recolor the Sprites of Characters in a secret Menu so you can make the Highlights of Chun Li's Tights the same color as her skin so they look ripped. You can also go further with this but I don't condone that.
This also has Pocket Fighter
