Absolutely loved laying waste to the town as a kid. This game was fun too.

The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction lets you live out a power fantasy as the unstoppable green giant. Smash through fully destructible environments, hurl tanks like toys, and unleash devastating attacks as you rage through missions of pure mayhem. The unbridled chaos is immensely satisfying, and the open-world design encourages experimentation and creative destruction. While the story and mission variety can feel a bit lacking at times, Ultimate Destruction delivers on the core appeal of embodying the Hulk's overwhelming power.

It's fun, but I feel like you see all there is to see pretty quickly.

I... played all of NG+ in a single sitting the day after I replayed the game. Awesome.

Hands down the best Hulk game. Want to smash stuff? Done. Want to grab and throw people around? Done. Want to pick up cars and tanks and toss them into buildings? Done.

Peak gaming in 2005, absolutely not replaying to see how it's aged though

İt a good Hulk game but its not a good action game,it has got fun mechanics but enemy design is not well , missions are boring even though if you like brainless action this game can be good alternative

Great game, smash people, grab people, throw people at walls, jump away

this game low key high key funny as hell.
“oh hulk is a hero!” they say “how heroic his deeds!” after i obliterate some random dude and throw his ass full speed at a building
ripping cars in half and using them to make ur punches better still is hard as hell

One of the best superhero games ever.
Really makes you feel like you’re the Green Abomination.
Also who the hell actually played this game’s story fully 💀

This is the “Destroy all Humans” of Marvel games. If there is a plot to this game I don’t remember it, I just remember causing mass destruction as the hulk and that is exactly what I bought the game for as a kid. Based

Not the best superhero game ever, but it might be the coolest. Turning buses into skateboards, making boxing gloves out of cars, suplexing enemies off the top of skyscrapers, this game constantly has you doing the coolest shit imaginable. It’s a game made up entirely of the stuff kids would imagine doing whenever they would put on a pair of those big plastic Hulk hands toys. No superhero game has encapsulated the power fantasy of its titular character quite like this one.

Even from the opening stages that focused on the tutorial, this game blew me away. Never did I imagine that the freedom players were given to enact accurate movement for Wolverine and Spider-Man in games past could also be applicable to The Hulk.

You can leap high into the air, charge your punches, carry heavy objects and even scale through buildings. Even with those simplistic-sounding actions, it's crafted such a free-flowing system. It's crazy fun to be in the thick of the action and knowing the capabilities of your destruction are only limited by your imagination.

It's a game that truly lives up to and deserves its name - Ultimate Destruction - and is an amazing love letter to one of Marvel's most enduring and endearing super heroes.

Boas lutas, boa gameplay de destruir tudo e exploração (sair por ai destruindo tudo, matando gente, subindo em porédio)

I didn't beat this game, and in all honesty, I barely played the story missions.

It was just incredibly fun to jump around and destroy everything in your path. Smashing cars, running up buildings, throwing people around...You can even use pieces of a car as boxing gloves and that is just absurd.

Probably would have gotten a lot more enjoyment and a bigger moveset for the Hulk if I had actually tried a bit harder to continue the story, but man, it was just too much fun to just run around aimlessly and do whatever the fuck I wanted.

An enjoyable power fantasy with some unnecessarily difficult missions and boss fights.

Hoo boy....second game in my Hulk marathon and my god...okay tbh it's not a bad game at all..and in it's core it is a good game, there's a lot of good things in it and a lot of good ideas and playing as the Hulk feels fun for the most part....but there are two BIG things that really bring this game down....No matter what upgrade you get, you are RIDICULOUSLY weak to bullets and rockets and those are things you will be facing a lot in this game...So much for being the Hulk...and the other thing being is that the mission design sucks ass.

First of all...I understand that gameplay-wise things can only be so canon-compliant...especially if it's based on a comic book...but my god Hulk shouldn't be this weak and this isn't just a lore complaint, you can be thrown around and fucked over so easily that it's insane...and the game just throws soooo many shit at you, there's so much flying around that I'm surprised that this thing didn't melt consoles back in the day...I guess it's really optimized. Back to the enemies, you can easily get stunlocked by those Hulkbuster bastards too...Hulk 2003 had the exact same problem and it really sucks the developers haven't learned a thing from it...

Speaking of developers...Radical Entertainment's idea of mission design seems to be either fetch this, deliver that or destroy this...and it gets old reeeeal quick....Simpsons Hit and Run has the same problem and that's a game I find really overrated. I'm the goddamn Hulk, not a delivery boy....Yes, Hulk is a simple character...mostly...on surface...and Banner is definitely not...kinda, sorta...but that doesn't mean your game should be this braindead repetitive.

But I guess the game is good at making me feel like the Hulk because I got angry at this fucking thing a lot. I especially hate how the game is telling you things like to do a Tank Toss on something you need to throw to the sea when you can just toss it...or that entire chase segment with Abomination bleh...somethings definitely felt like padding here.

If Bruce was playing any of his games, either the ones worth a damn like this one or the shitty ones, none of those PCs or consoles would survive.

Atleast it's not insultingly bad like Marvel's Spider-Man....especially not in the story department. This game doesn't remind me why MJ and Peter broke up, yknow?

I'm also baffled by first Abomination battle suddenly becoming hard for me? I beat him easily months ago on my abandoned playthrough by simply bruteforcing it and I was playing on Normal. But NOW on Easy, he easily kicked my ass like 5 times! I know you're supposed to ram him into the walls but even that is hard on itself! I'm so confused on why this happened, same thing happened to a good friend of mine too! Did the AI became self-aware? Did the developers somehow swap his Easy and Normal values by accident? Did we simply got rusty on his part? I dunno...man...

I didn't even bother reading the Blonsky Files, they bore me I just let the voices play so that the stars go away and stop bothering me at the menu

Anyways, recently I booted this up again after beating '03 and gave up on the same mission..."Got Yourself a Convoy".
It really says that my friend ended up getting 55 comic book covers, which is used to unlock extras like art, movies and extras. Turned on the double damage and double HP pickup cheats, got up to where I was and tossed me the save file and THAT'S what it took to make the game fun. Well...more like bearable near the end but yeah. It was more like a stepping stone in his replay and I didn't ask him to do this but I really appreciate him doing so...thanks to that the playthrough is saved and completed lol.

But yknow what? Fuck all that negativity, how about we end this on a positive note? Let me talk about something I love, Devil Hulk! I LOVE Devil Hulk! He's so fucking cool, his design, his voice, how he haunts Bruce, his boss battle, the visuals of that...and the way of him being this bogeyman inside and treating Hulk like a sniveling child...man they really nailed him...the whole concept of being this demon inside who is here to corrupt you thing is done really well with him...I wish he appeared a bit longer but he was definitely built up and used far better than say....Mercy...atleast I felt something unlike Mercy. That part definitely got me interested more in Hulk mythos, I'm not saying I'm gonna read anything but who knows!

And oh man, talk about Abomination! I feel like I finally go to know this character for the first time and remember him as a memorable one too! My only exposure to him is The Incredible Hulk (2008) really and despite having seen that movie multiple times, he never really stood out to me...sure I remember him but he's not really memorable yknow? He's just the big baddie there to fight Hulk...but here! His motivations, his personality, his great voice (Ron Perlman!), the way he fights...I truly feel like I got to know this character after knowing about him for over a decade now. Thank you for doing him so well and making him so memorable, UD.
You have no idea how it feels to finally know and embrace something and see it's true hidden potential after seeing and knowing just a husk representation of it for over a decade, it feels conclusive. Definitely another peek at the larger Hulk comic mythos I feel I saw with this one.

Also I love that they put General Ross in a mech as a boss fight, that rocks! It reminds me of the boss fight with Tron Bonne in that giant mech in Mega Man Legends 1 lol

Maybe someday someone will make a tweak mod to bring this game to it's potential...speaking of tweaking I love the fact that the source code of Hulk 2003 leaked and people could be making all sorts of ports and mods with but nobody seems to care lmao

Welp, after a replay, guess I was wrong. This game is still awesome, and while its hard as hell sometimes- I really love it!

O jogo não é necessariamente ruim, até que pode ser um pouco bom, mas particularmente não me acostumei com essa jogabilidade datada.

As a big Hulk fan, this is quite possibly the BEST Hulk videogame yet and it stands as its' own game pretty darn well too. It's a character action game that gives you a vast arsenal of awesome moves and abilities that make you feel like an unstoppable behemoth, and you have the entire military as both a constant threat and excellent instruments for your destructiveness, with open world hubs that let you really take in the atmosphere and offers it's own fun with the freedom of playing this man mountain unconstrained.

I will say this game does get frustrating, and I mean real rage inducing, but for my playthrough I feel like that rage was what really got me to keep pushing through and smash up those annoying jets and helicopters. It honestly felt amazing to just let out my own anger by bashing the army men that kept killing my hulk over and over, just brute forcing through the barrage of missles and getting through those fights with sheer force of will was exhillerating. It sounds like a meme, but it really does add to the immersion and make you feel like a hulked out rage machine just wanting to be left alone.

Speaking of being left alone, the story may not be real meaty or fleshed out but its' barebones plotline at the very least hits all the halllmarks of what makes a Hulk story, the persecution and Bruce Banner struggling against the stressors outside and within to find peace. Toss in some good drama with Paul Jenkin's own Devil Hulk, made all the more special on retrospect from reading Immortal Hulk, and you got a story that is kinda threadbare but hits those spots for a Hulk fan that make it worthwhile.

It's not a perfect game, but the thrill and the fun of getting through it is a journey that has the satisfaction of beating rage games, along with the ludonarrative harmony of connecting with the Hulk on a deeper level through gameplay gets me sooo hyped and reminds me what games can really do for somebody. If you're a Hulk fan, and don't mind putting in the time to deal with frustrating enemies and bosses, you owe it to yourself to play this game.

Far, far, far, far, far, far, far more incredible than it had any right to be. Proper open world fun, felt like playing GTA III except I was big and green.

As a game itself, it proved to be more interesting and well done than 2008's The Incredible Hulk, but it didn't entertain me as much.

A phenomenal super hero game, it's essentially GTA but your the Hulk, and God Damn is it fun. The combat is really fun, allowing you to pick up cars, people. etc and throw them around, you can unlock new abilties like using a Bus like a Tony Hawk skateboard, using a construction vehicles wrecking ball as a weapon, etc, etc. There is just so much stuff you can do in this game that the combat just doesn't get old. The game is actually quite tough for a comic book game, it may even be among the hardest, but damn is it fulfilling to beat those tough missions. And to top it off the Story is actually pretty great, it's not Arkham levels, but for a Hulk story, it does a great job.

And you can unlock Joe Fixit Hulk, complete with his own voice lines.

An easy recommend to any Hulk fan.
