Not really much to say about this one , it's just a good simpsons game adaption , not deep but enjoyable.
One of the best tv show video games. Lot of references while still being a relatively fun 3d platformer. A hidden gem IMO.
Played each version (360, PS2, DS etc.) and the Xbox 360 version is by far my favourite!
Despite its writing, the controls were not great, the character models looked way too round and the story didn't make much sense, even for the show's standards. It also dragged on a bit too long.

Remember buying this and thinking it was gonna be like Hit & Run but then it was actually just really shite and took like 1 hour to finish.

this game is a time machine of 2008 video game newgrounds parodies and gaming culture at large that i honestly greatly appreciate. god talking about beating oblivion and guitar hero spoofs bring me to a simpler time when the simpsons was cute and not a cruel reminder of father time’s iron grasp on our lives and culture, and going through it again was a pleasant romp. play it with a friend that remembers the feeling and enjoy how quaint it is when lisa says shit like “i cant wait for the xbox 720 to come out”

i remember playing the giant donut lard lad statue boss fight for like an hour because i was like roleplaying the fight as like an epic battle but then i think my dad got annoyed that i was playing it so long. I haven't seen my father since 2013. The Ds version was cooler Btw

Universal Vivendi Games didn't publish The Simpsons Game instead EA got their hands on the franchise and they got one of their own studios to develop their first game. Which is a fine game with the family obtaining superpowers.
Homer transforms into Homer Ball by eating food and can burst to gain faster movement, Gummi Homer can transform by eating gummi sweets and shoot powerful gummi grenades and by standing next to a oxygen tank he can transform into Helium Homer to gain extra height. Bart transforms into Bartman and can glide, use zip lines and climb special walls. Lisa has the power of the Hand of Buddha to grab objects, flick, smash freeze or send lightning to enemies. Marge controls mobs using a megaphone to construct objects, fight enemies and break objects.

It's like playing your own episode of The Simpsons if episodes of The Simpsons took 20 seconds to watch. The gameplay itself is enjoyable and the writing is solid, but the game is simply just too short and feels like it ends before it even gets off the starting block.

I liked it a bit more than Hit & Run, but given that I didn't love Hit & Run like everyone else did, that's not exactly a high bar to reach.
Definitely had some fun shots at the gaming industry, though. The humor in this game remains top-notch.

I remember this being bundled with the PS2 my parents gave to me on my 8th Birthday and absolutely burning that disc, replaying it several times, but really, it's basic as basic goes. You really aren't missing anything.
