The gameplay is starting to get a little stale; the exploration and RPG elements haven't gelled completely. But the soundtrack still slaps!

one of the greatest video games ever made. a flat out gameplay improvement on the pro skater games with its improvement on its physics engine and ability to get off your board. fun plot with engaging characters and has a masterfully curated soundtrack. must play

I remember this one being buggy as hell, and somehow it convinced my 13 year old self to buy a skateboard. That eventually lead to me breaking my arm, so I have to knock a star off out of principle. Great soundtrack as usual though.

The intro traumatized my friend.

Favorite Tony Hawk game that I suck at

no filler, all killer (except for the cars)

arguably the best tony hawk game out there: the main campaign fucks, the splitscreen fucks, the levels are AWESOME. creating your own skater makes the campaign feel so much more personal too. also introduces the most inhuman video game character, eric sparrow you FUCK

if you always wanted to play a tony hawk game, I would say start here. unless you're weird about emulation then play the new one lol

my 4th tony hawk experience, probably the best complete package

I love this game so much, The ambient, The soundtrack,The maps, I think its perfect for me and one of the Best tony hawk game i ever played.

This game informed my taste in music.

was wild that a tony hawk game got a story mode and I really enjoyed it for all the crude humour that skaters wer eimplied to have by the media at the time, eric sparrow is still to this day such a massive knob

Um dos mais jogados na minha infância, nostalgia.

my favorite tony hawk game in the series, cannot recommend enough. personally better than 2 for me because i like the "going pro" aspect of the thps line

One of the best Tony Hawk games. Bullshit story that brings to to interesting locations. Character customization and stat gain is good to progress. This was the first installment where you could jump off your board and climb stuff to extend combo which made for great gameplay.

Takes everything that made the series great up to this point and absolutely nails it. The cohesive and memorable rags-to-riches story is an instant classic, and the added ability to get off your board adds another layer of great freedom to the game. It's debatably the best skateboarding RPG that's ever been made, and something that hasn't been replicated since. Play it.

If THPS was already good, this game not only already plays like a dream, but its story, locations and GODLIKE MUSIC THAT LITERALLY SHAPED MY CURRENT MUSIC TASTES made it a ps2 classic for me and I'm always glad of playing it every year

The best Tony Hawk game there is. Easy. Amazing story mode with one of the best villians in all of gaming (fuck you Eric Sparrow). The levels are amazing, the soundtrack is killer, the game looks crisp and the controls are amazingly snappy and smooth. One of the best games i've ever played

This game made me think skateboarding was really cool even though I was a fat kid with no balance.

flawless game. though the series was naturally heading in this direction from thps4 this felt like one big shot at taking the series further and they nailed it. i of course say this in retrospect because i was near on a walking wean when this released

YEAH!!!! YEAH!!!!!
Manhattan is like the best THPS map of all time

Feels kinda wrong to play this one on the GameCube … but I’m an immoral man

musicas absurdas
gameplay absurda
liberdade pra manobras e mundo absurdos
historia extremamente satisfatoria
simplesmente que jogo amigos

The peak of Tony Hawk. If you only play one of them, make it this one.

Keeping with the trend of evolving in each entry, Underground is the first Tony Hawk game to introduce a story, and a surprisingly good one at that. It's nothing spectacular, but I think it's fair to say it's a lot more competent than anyone was expecting of a skateboarding game. The gameplay feels smoother than ever and is, once again, complemented with more new mechanics like getting off your board and wallplants, and some smaller things as well. It also added some more polarizing things like the vehicle missions that, even as a kid, felt out of place in the game, but there's only one per level so it isn't too bad. Complete with one of the most annoying video game villains of all time, THUG is still a very fun game to this day.
