There was a moment in the game where a minigame pop in and suddenly Agnes Tachyon wanted me to get her a plushie from the crane machine.

at the very last attempt, I managed to get a plushie of herself.

seeing her holding it with her face full of joy, on that very moment.

"i get it."

Where is Global I can't speak Japanese 😭

Gacha Monster Rancher but with horse girls. I can't really knock it other than the gacha mechanics of course. If you play it without worrying about other people being "better" than you then I think there's a lot to enjoy here.

I played this game since launch and forgot to rate this game. I love everything about this game from the music, the raising sim gameplay, the graphics, the dialogue is kind of hard for me since I'm still learning Japanese but the writing isn't that difficult to understand since it's basically a everyday life talking if you know what I mean. But the writing is really good! There's plot but it's more like a sport anime style of plot with slice of life in it which is my style. I'm only giving it 4 Star because despite how amazing this game is, the end of the day it's still gacha.

fuck your horse girls where are the fish girls at

Those fine 3D models, bro. Yum. Got some Idolmaster feels in here. Suzuka is also some fine dining.

Overall: 6.5/10 (7)

Gameplay: 6/10
Story/Narrative: 5/10
Graphics/Visuals: 9/10
Audio/Soundtrack: 6/10

The first raising sim where I ended up doing a run every day for months. Clicking buttons to watch numbers go up activates a special part of my brain, the character models and animations are top notch, and I ended up looking up more about Japanese horse racing than I thought I ever would.

The highlight of the game, in my opinion, is that every uma musume gets to be the star in her training scenario. Even the extremely eccentric characters who would at best be a side character or a running joke (if not a background character) gets a main character-level training scenario that is full of references to the real-life counterpart's racing history, and a lot of care goes into balancing the irl horse's racing history with the characterization of the uma musume as an anime girl.

Agnes Tachyon 10/10 permanently rewired my brain

if you know me, i've played my handful of management sims so i went into this expecting a nice, high-budget management sim and came out of it with:

- a crippling horsegirl addiction
- a membership at my local racetrack
- a supporter tote bag from the japanese retired horse association
- a designer collab t-shirt (special week design)
- an elevation chart spreadsheet of every major race for each distance (made by yours truly)
- countless acrylic stands of my favorite characters (mostly the symbolis)
- a new shelf (for the starting gate/winning live cds)

AND
- a game that's pretty fun too : )

so yeah this game may or may not be life-changing but more than that i think it's also pretty neat! 🐱👍🐴

One of the most well-constructed and clear labors of love ever created. The amount of passion and endearment the developers of this game for the subject material is undeniable as they push the envelope for what a F2P mobile game can be and look like. Insanely high quality storytelling and graphics make this one of the best games i've ever played. They did not have to go this hard but I'm glad they did.

my wife daiwa scarlet is on this

Amazing production values, horrifying grinding scheme (even among gachas, Cygames is notorious for this). Still, if you can read Japanese or have a good translator, there are tons of stories to read, if you want that sweet sweet horsegirl-trainer drama. Plus the lives are really well done.
