4.25 / 5.
Honestly a lot better than I'd ever expected it to be.
Whilst it doesn't come close to the heights of Uncharted 4, it is nice to play and interact with these characters again, Chloe and Nadine get more backstory which I appreciate, and Sam showing up for the final few chapters was a nice touch.
I have my complaints, I think the villain is underutilized, the game as a whole is too short as well, but I really enjoyed this.

Here are my thoughts:
The gameplay additions like lock-picking were pretty fun. Non-linearity in combat encounters was particularly great, you can be direct or discreet. The game certainly doesn't waste time reintroducing you to the mechanics of Uncharted. As for the exploration, it was good as always, although the open sections were maybe a little weak.
I loved the dynamic between Chloe and Nadine and how it progressed. They complement each other very nicely. Chloe's development into becoming more selfless was of interest, she's come a long way since 2 and 3. Asav was a decent villain, but not as good as Rafe. His ambitions and goals weren't that engaging, although he fills the role he was meant to.
The production quality was pretty surprising for what was intended to be a DLC. You can tell they put a lot of effort into the graphics, voice acting etc. I did notice that there aren't as many setpieces, but I guess that makes the train sequence stand out a lot more which is cool.
I’d say the game picks up when Sam joins, I enjoyed fighting alongside him and everyone putting aside their differences to take down ||Asav|| before it was too late.
I'm gonna miss this franchise, but I'll always remember it. I'd love for there to be more adventures, but all good things must come to an end.
My final ranking is probably 4 > 2 > LL > 3 > 1.

The game is 9 chapters long, and for the first 5, it's just, like, "WHO CARES?! HONESTLY! WHY SHOULD I CARE?" Kind of reminded me of Sleepless starring Jamie Foxx (which I've never seen). Why would you keep a severely important plot-detail, that makes the story more interesting, hidden from the audience for two thirds of the story?!
Chapter 4 is...open world? Sort of...for some reason. And there's a side-mission... Like...but, why?
But the last chapter is one of the absolute best chapters in the series (one of the best missions in video games, full stop) and totally worth the rest of the game.
Not gay enough, though.

The Lost Legacy is essentially just more Uncharted 4, it's something like a stand-alone expansion, and a great one at that.
Honestly, I am surprised, I enjoyed this more than I expected. Even though the gameplay is more of the same, there's less climbing, and the fact that the game is relatively short is mostly a positive.
The game rarely feels repetitive, every puzzle is different from each other, and there is also an open area in the middle of the game where you can explore, which was implemented very well.
As for Chloe and Nadine, they make a pretty nice duo, where's Chloe is likeable and a goofball, Nadine is the opposite, she's aggressive and pretty cool. I liked their chemistry and I think both characters work very well together.
And now for the negatives, the story isn't necessarily bad, it's just very generic and there are no stakes. Also, in my personal opinion, the biggest flaw the game has is that there are barely any highlights in it, almost no action except from the last chapter, which is a complete letdown considering how the action is literally the best part about this series.
Overall it's very solid, and for its size it's definitely worth checking out.
Final Rating: "Good" ~ 7/10.

Not much to say rlly. I rlly liked this game bc of gameplay and stuff but it was pretty much like uncharted 4. I love the characters tho and I wish we could've gotten a bit more of sam. Only negative abt this game is the last 2 chapters were a bit awkward imo ? Like Idk how to explain it but it just felt forced, kinda like the developers just wanted to get over with it. Still overall great game
The Uncharted franchise played a big role in defining my love of video games growing up so I was excited to play the one main entry that I hadn’t yet completed. The Lost Legacy is a comparably short entry in the franchise, taking me around five and a half hours to complete, although it is still a standalone title and not an expansion.
The Lost Legacy brings back an apparently beloved character from the original trilogy, Chloe, who I admittedly do not remember much of as I haven't played those games in ages. Additionally Nadine, who was introduced in Uncharted 4 acts as Chloe's sidekick now. While I know that there were many complaints about Nadine's character, I personally do not mind her all that much. I think many complaints were based on Nadine’s actions in the previous installment which I do not really remember much (that’s a common theme here I guess). Regardless I think both characters are fine although they are a bit under developed and never feel like fully fleshed out characters. Part of this is likely due to the short runtime as there is just not as much time to develop these characters and the relationship between the two.
The story is a typical Uncharted treasure hunt but is remarkably generic. The villain is the sort of generic bad guy that is evil because he wants power and the motivations behind both parties are either dull or not explained very well. You have your arcade-like shootouts, puzzles, and big set pieces that the Uncharted franchise is well known for as well as a large open world section. The open world section is similar to that of Uncharted 4’s where you get to explore the level in a vehicle and can find treasures and clear outposts along the way. Unfortunately, I don’t think that the Uncharted franchise is very well suited for these large and open areas as there is really no incentive to explore other than to find meaningless treasures.
The combat in these games has never necessarily been all that great. Maybe it’s the result of my maturing, but I found the shootouts to be a bit tedious and repetitive after awhile . It really comes down to just shooting until you run out of ammo and then picking up another weapon to repeat the process until everyone is dead. It’s not necessarily a bad time but it certainly gets old after a little while.
While there are certainly parts of the game I didn’t enjoy, there is still a lot to like. The introduction of new characters is refreshing even if they are not as fleshed out and interesting as I would have liked. Chloe and Nadine have some fun banter and although obvious Nadine’s arc through the story is enjoyable. I also particularly enjoyed the introduction and finale levels. The environment in the introduction looks fantastic and I thought it was a fun way to get the ball rolling. The set piece at the end feels a bit generic but is a pretty thrilling experience. All in all the game works out as a pretty standard Uncharted experience, which is to say an enjoyable time. At this point I think the series has kind of exhausted itself and needs to bring something new to the table in future installments.
