goated dlc for a goated game

ill do the data fights eventually, they're probably canon knowing nomura

prepare for 3 hours of cutscenes, most of which youve already seen before as you fight very brief easier versions of bosses youve already faced before and do nothing else

$30 please

Pretty subpar story stuff saved by the inclusion of phenomenal KH2 Final Mix-y boss fights

$30 DLC for maybe two hours of new story content and some optional superbosses. Yeah nah.

I really enjoy Kingdom Hearts without nostalgia goggles. I played the majority of the franchise for the first time in the last 6 months. The only ones I played were 1 and 2 over 10 years ago before this year. I really have enjoyed my experience.

Holy shit though. There had to have been a better way to do this. I think the additions are really nice but Nomura, in his special and absurdly unique fashion, made ReMind absolutely difficult to play.

I don't know how else to explain it other than wait for a sale on the DLC. I personally don't think the price is... well... good. This could've been a $5-10 or free update. It's kind of absurd. I don't feel robbed or anything since I got it all back in April during the golden week sale on PSN. It was like $30 for the full game and DLC...

I just feel bad for anyone who purchased this for $40. Anyways. I didn't come here for the story of kindom hearts but I was hoping for more. It is important story content, too. It takes 4 hours to get to and watching a lot of the same content... sigh

Story didn't really get any better but the Data battles are the best boss battles in the entire series. Worth it if you either like Kingdom Hearts combat or sold your soul to Tetsuya Nomura and are obligated to see Kingdom Hearts through to the end.

this is what made kh3 a 10/10. amazing new story, amazing growth on previous cutscenes, and amazing recreation of the kh2 data bosses! cannot wait to see where we go next!!

la historia nueva no aporta tanto como esperaba pero lo bien que me lo he pasado con los data bosses y yozora no tiene nombre

It didn't fix the unfixable.

ReMind was DLC that promised to answer some questions, which it did, but it also created twice as many as it answered. I don't mind though, as it seems like there could be some cool introductions to the series in the future. Gameplay-wise, I wouldn't really say this is worth the price for most people, even on sale. The main part of the DLC is mostly just the ending of 3 again, but with new playable characters and a few new scenes. The part that I really enjoyed, however, are all the optional bosses that come after. They're extremely challenging, but it's exactly what I was looking for considering how easy 3 was. Most of the content here really should've just been a part of the base game, but I still found it enjoyable regardless.

Muda essa porra aí caralho, lançaram para PC essa perfeição!

Edit: mudaram, antes no platform tinha só para ps4, mas enfim. Jogo perfeito onde culminou todas as minhas experiências com os jogos e filmes da franquia

The main campaign of this is a joke even in Critical if you have a Level 80 Sora with Ultima Weapon and the best defensive equipment... however when you're not playing as Sora, holy shit.

The story was standard, not gonna go into it.

Bottom line is that the DLC is alright. I wouldn't say it's worth 30 bucks personally as (outside of the Data Fights) it's mostly just retreads of the ending of KH3.

Still pretty kino tho, now can someone for the love of god make a straight Kingdom Hearts Doujin about Aqua.

While I enjoyed this way more than I enjoyed kh3 I feel like I’m being kinda generous giving it 3 stars and the reason for that is that most of the dlc is literally reused content, most of the boss fights are fights that you’ve already done just getting the option to play as another character and the worst part is that you have to redo some of these as sora AGAIN! You get new cutscenes here and there, team attacks with most of the trios expect for a riku and sora attack which feels odd but they probably didn’t give them one because there is a sora/Mickey/riku team attack and I’m actually pretty mad about how dirty my boy riku was done gameplay wise the stuff I found enjoyable was definitely the guardians vs replica xehanorts and a couple of scenes in the limit cut episode, data greeting was a neat idea though I personally don’t use it much. I will say that locking important scenes behind very difficult bosses was a dick move, the secret boss is fair but important scenes being locked behind 13 bosses is bullshit.

Probably not worth the price but damn did I enjoy this DLC but 90% of that is Limit Cut plus 9% of the Secret Episode

the history added clarifies some questions that were left unanswered in the main game but i don't care about that stuff i LOVE the new superbosses added in the limitcut episode they really nailed it and i hope that they will continue to design bosses like that in the next kh games

Secret boss is probably the best boss I've ever seen.

The average of two scores:

ReMind: 2/10

Worst piece of sit DLC I ever wasted money on. I had to pay $30 just to play the main game again and re-watch a ton of cutscenes with the only added feature being the option to play as a much weaker character? It's amazing how much this DLC learns nothing from the flaws of the main game and provides debatably the worst experience in KH history. This is an outrage!

Limit Cut: 10/10

Holy s
it, best boss roster in years. Each boss is challenging, distinct, loaded with great music and unique mechanics. Limit Cut offers 12 of the best bosses in KH history(Dark Riku is there too), and it doesn't stop there. I never thought Lingering Will would be topped in terms of difficulty, but I haven't beaten Yozora to this day. Be that as it may, I never found myself frustrated. This boss roster must be experienced!

Overall: 6/10

You know ReMind is bad if having one of the greatest boss collections in gaming history waiting for you at the end just barely justified the purchase. I would have much preferred it if ReMind was removed or at least shortened and the price was dropped down to at most $20, but I'll take Limit Cut however I can get it. If you buy this DLC, please don't stop playing until you finish ReMind, it will be worth it.

This is a fraud, not worth every cent of its price. Recycled scenes of the main game, unbalanced bosses, the only part of this DLC worth is the 10€ of the Yoko Shimomura's concert.

Si nos centramos solo en su parte de historia no merece ni de cerca esa nota, pero Limit Cut es una cosa tan increíble que lo alza a la misma nota que su original. Veréis los mejores combates de toda la saga.

A good collection of bosses held back by a kinda lame plot section that probably should have locked you to a certain level. Yozora is hard though could not beat him.

Short and only an extended ending, though it got amazing soundtrack and the hardest boss fight in the whole KH series.

This was enough to challenge Kingdom Hearts 2 FM as my favorite in the series. The new bosses are so fun to learn and conquer and the customizable difficulty options give so much in replay value. Wish the load times were better on PS4 compared to 2 FM on PS4 which are practically non-existent.

In order to fix very rushed ending Nomura decided to make it 10 times worse. I guess I should thank him for not making it a separate shitty 20 hours long game exclusive for smart fridge.
