Men I fucking love this game so hard. The one of two titles of the racing genre I FUCKING LOVE. Why I love this game so far? The cities, Better Free Roam than MC2, the music and the races yikes everything so good. Even the difficulty (altough unbalanced sometimes for casuals) is adapted for your skill which is good. The choice of cars is pretty good, also the variety from several brands: Ferrari,Lamborghini, Volkswagen etc.. You can tune everything and make cute even it has Uniques.. makes you feel like a superstar actually you are the superstar here :). Although the history here is decent the rest gets over it easily because it is so illegal racing thing.. Also you have a special event for each group of cars (tuners, exotics, motorbikes, choppers etc.). the music has a genre for everyone (electronic, pop, rap, rock... etc.). The races are well made and after a few tries you can get used to it just don´t become frustated if you lose in the first tries.. it´s about muscle memory and might be hard to recover races sometimes.. You literallly don´t need to spend A SINGLE CENT in new cars to beat this game 100%. I did it with the cars that the game offered me :). San Diego and Atlanta are my favorite cities and i still don´t like unordered races pls remove them ty.
god tier racing game. everything about this game was great however one thing i missed was the racers having personalities from mc 1 and 2. now they're reduced to basic characters. other than that... the customization was insane. i loved making cars here even if it's not as impressive nowadays. difficulty was pretty hard as well but I feel it was toned down and not as annoying as mc 1 & 2. loved this game although if racer personalities were added here it would have been the perfect racing game ever.
On a home console, this could have been a really good game. But on Sony's handheld, the PSP, this is one of the greatest street-racers of this time period. A great selection of maps and wide array of cars with the ability to import your own music collection as a radio station. This was an amazing experience to take with you on the go.
