Sega CD Version is a million times better in the music and gameplay department but if you like Ys III’s bumpy af controlling but with Xanadu combat, you’ll like this.

An action platformer overflowing with charisma. Fantastic production on all aspects, from the amazing graphics / cutscenes to the soundtrack. It lacks a bit of depth in the exploration side of things, but it's still a game I can easily recommend!
