What a beautiful, wonderful, terrible game. I really, really enjoyed it.

I don't know that I can really review this one without spoiling it. It's fun and sad at the same time. It will make you feel terrible but also give you hope. It asks hard questions and gives back hard answers. It's the kind of thing I think about when I think about little indie games. A story, told beautifully, taking advantage of our ability to interact and make choices throughout.

I would definitely recommend this one, but it is often a sad and depressing game, so be ready for that. Still, excellence in everything it does. Highly recommended.

Beautiful, emotional... slightly tedious. I think you probably know if this is your jam by watching a trailer. It has warm fuzzies and sad in equal measure. The gameplay didnt feel taxing after the first day or two as my cubs had plenty of food and minimal threat. Saved from mediocrity by the look and charm and nailing the ending.

Endling is one of my favorite indie games. It is a great example of an indie game and why I really love them. Endling is filled with tons of charm and emotion which you cant often find in a triple A game. The gameplay is simple, but pretty enjoyable and unique and the story is very subtle but really cute. I really love the game's stakes, characters and visuals. The characters are all really cute so it is hard to not like them and the visuals are really cool looking. But the main reason I like this game is the stakes there are. There are many ways for you to lose your kids and you have to be very careful when hunting and be very mindful of your time. This is why I give the game a very solid 8/10 and a big recommend.
