I'd say I'm probably more positive on Kingdom Hearts III than a lot of fans, because its fanservice genuinely hits for me. Re:Mind is essentially just more fanservice, and adding stuff that probably should have just been in the game to begin with. In a way, adding everything that once was Final Mix content into a DLC sounds like an improvement for Kingdom Hearts, but here it might be a detriment. The new content isn't integrated directly into the game, and instead is in its own menu with its own saves. It totally limits how much of a game changer the content can really be, especially in comparison to II's Final Mix. All in all, it doesn't feel strictly necessary, nor does it really change my opinion on Kingdom Hearts III.

As hype as that end was it did not justify re-playing that much of the actual game's finale. Like, it really did make me Feel a lot but man having me go through the labyrinth again to fight the same bosses WITH THE SAME CUTSCENES EXCEPT FOR TERRA was not great.
Anyway... I have a lot more to say about Kingdom Hearts 3 itself but I didn't feel like writing a review on its actual entry.
This DLC was not it but the game itself was great when the Disney worlds actually did something interesting. Never thought I would think Pirates would be a highlight of any Kingdom Hearts game for me.
I'm so happy everyone is back (:

we really needed this. the keyblade graveyard was such an underutilized place and i'm so happy that we got completely new cutscenes too, with basically nothing re-used from the main game. they must've put a lot of effort into this one and it really didn't feel boring and repetitive at all to get to this right after finishing the main game. this really was worth my time! ...or not.

It lacks on every aspect.
The gameplay is not as good as the previous ones.
No secret bosses.
Wolds are small and few.
Too much cinematic, you spend more time watching than playing the world. Makes them boring at some point.
First released difficulty was too easy and even after they patched it it isn't a challenge really.
I didn't like the ending, but this is a personal opinion I'm not counting it.
It was nice that we have more lore explained but Where is Disney?
After so many years and fake release dates we were expecting a lot more than this.
I love KH, I give it 2 stars since it has more lore that involves the previous games and Nintendo stand alone, and it's definitely not the worse game I played, but that's about it.
Really, where is Disney?

DISCLAIMER: This review is KH3 and Remind as one game, simply because that is how I played it. I can not seperate the two, as they were never apart in my copy of the game, as such the review may not reflect what my opinions of the base game wouldve been, if I had played them seperatly (as in play the base game on launch day, and then Remind later)
An absolute Blast to play, loved the new weapon change system, and the worlds now including Pixar, is amazing. The conclusion to the Xehanort saga, and honestly I don't think it could have been better, at least as a conclusion. The music was good as always, the graphics majorly improved from its predecessor, and the gameplay felt fast and fluid. The minor things I'd change have mostly to do with the story than anything else. Remind was brilliant, giving me a way to play Roxas again since KH2, and even getting a playable Kairi. Also The Gummi ship traversal is much more fun.
