I was going to be a little more lenient, but the more I thought about the flaws of the game, the worse they got unfortunately. I like the rear window stuff, but the gameplay gets old quick and the detective stuff never gets actually detective-y, just sorta hand holdy and extremely linear. The animations are near inexcusable because I literally recognized the stock animations, which wouldn't be a bad thing... if it weren't for it taking me out constantly and looking like the Sims at times. The voice acting ranges, but overall pretty good. The story's decent but never goes above where you think it's gonna go. The characters are charming and it is interesting to literally play as an ex-cop that committed blatant abuse and possibly helped kill people that's trying to redeem himself, and i liked his character a lot, and everyone else is either someone you watch, or the only other character you talk to and she's good and fine. That kind of encapsulates the entire game: good and fine!
