My brothers introduced me to this at some point, and with my main online FPS around this era being Counter-Strike this seemed like an awesomely different sort of game. I feel like I mostly played the campaigns instead of multiplayer though, I liked how each campaign was built around a different mission type. The announcer voice describing the kills was obviously a treat, and probably the first time I'd heard something like that (outside of like, "Terrorists win" in CS).

i had a 28.8k modem when this came out so i couldnt really play it that well but i still remember having fun with the bot matches and pretending like i was playing with people
