This is a weird one, parts of me love it. It definitely would of scratched that itch for an FFXesque came on the gen it came out instead of that shit show FF13 that we got. And a few tracks in I was thinking god damn this music is incredible it's very Nobuo, of course his name shows up. But theirs just too many what the fuck things about this game. The boss difficulty spike is all over the shop. Weird little things like going to a guys weapon store where the walls are covered in weapons only for him to sell nothing but consumables and 2 or 3 accessories. The characters are likeable so I can see parts of why people like this game but as far as actually playing, it's a very meh RPG.
