When I started playing shredders it seems like a very unfinished game with a horrible story. In fact, almost everything about this game is bad. What it gets right is the gameplay of snowboarding and it really feels fantastic to play. It isn't meant to be simulation, but the feeling of winding up before throwing a 1440 method never gets old. It feels very responsive and athletic with enough depth to give a real challenge. I love the rewind button to try the jump again. Without that I might not have stuck with the game.
Edit: I've been having way to much fun playing this game so I added a half star. It's a really great game to jump into and try to land a nice line. Really chill and satisfying.
