An improvement in some ways over the first game, where the systems feel a bit more fleshed out, while also still suffering in some aspects like the simplistic dueling combat and somewhat clunky ship to ship fights. It still just doesn't come together as well as Pirates! Gold or the Seven Cities of Gold remake.
