A game of peaks and valleys but I do still really like this game. The Dragonborn DLC is where this game finds its footing and becomes fantastic though. Before that? It's still fun, but also very annoying in many ways. Not enough to deter me from completing it though.

i wish i could get back all the time i've wasted on this (not that much because it is really bad)

Hot take: the main quest is actually quite generic and the side quests are mainly fetch quests. Honestly, I found the Dark Brotherhood quest better than the main one! I'd take the silly charm of Oblivion over this any day.

This is probably the best game I have ever played. Bethesda's magna opus. Set the standard for open world games. This is pretty much the measuring stick for all other games I have played.

Here's a list of games that are better than Skyrim from the year 2011:
1-Portal 2
2-Dark Souls
3- LittleBigPlanet 2
4-Infamous 2
5-Uncharted 3
6-Sonic Generations
7-Marvel vs. Capcom 3
8-The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword
9-Minecraft
10-Jetpack Joyride
11-Super Mario 3D Land
12-Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3
13-Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games
14-Mario Kart 7
15-Batman: Arkham City

Although there are many open world games, for me Skyrim is the one that marked a before and after.
Hours and hours of good content in a huge world with freedom to do what you want and enjoy it at your own pace.

Possibly my favorite game of all time. Can’t pinpoint it, and sometimes I think it’s 75% simply because of the soundtrack, but it’s special.

This game is my ultimate example of how you can believe a game is fun and separately believe it is bad. I'll start with my positive, that being that there's nothing quite like simply walking around the open world from place to place and tackling whatever you happen to come across.
That being said
This game's world is unbelievably dull. Any city the game urges you to stay in past the initial awe of seeing it for the first time quickly becomes a chore to traverse. It becomes easier when you have a quest to do but so many of those are either fight some guys, get an item, or fight some guys to get an item from them that those eventually become a chore as well.
Some individual quests have charm to them usually because of the one in a million chance of one of the characters having charm but the main quest is boring as sin and almost entirely not worth doing unless you want some of the shouts unlocked along the way. Legitimately if you held a gun to my head and asked me to name three Skyrim characters I would be unable to.
It is legitimately a blessing that Bethesda managed to create the community that it did because modding is the thing that truly saves it. Most quest mods I've found feel like they have been made with ten times the passion of any part of this story.
That being said, I am well aware that I shall lose many more nights to this game. If you want to wander around and sometimes fight dragons, play this game. If you want a game with a similar vibe but a great story, play The Forgotten City

Even tough it becames easily repetitive it has a charm that I enjoy while still has that spell on me

que jogo maravilhoso, tudo é perfeito.

Really overrated. Modding can make it like other games.
