This is simply the best NFS game made. The story is not great, but that's not the focus of NFS. The gameplay is fantastic, it's a simcade with a lot of customizations, aesthetics or tuning. The soundtrack is second best only to NFS:HP 2. The sounds, man, THE SOUNDS. EA Black Box did a fantastic job on the audio front in this game. All the cars sound unique and really, REALLY good. There is a good selection of cars in the base game, with the DLCs adding more than 20 cars. In total, this game has around 78 cars with all DLCs, the biggest in NFS to that date. The narrators add a lot of charm to the festival setting, and make some fun remarks sometimes. Autosculpting actually makes a difference in aerodynamic. The drifting in this game is my favorite in any game, point. To me, this is as perfect as a racing game can get.

I can understand from where people came when they say that this is the worst NFS ever made, this is not like the previous 4 games by Black Box, it returns to the roots of the franchise, it's a far more refined and advanced version of NFS IV: HS(Which is my favorite from the classic era).

Resuming, this game is fantastic and it's a shame that not a lot of people gave it a chance.
