I love the message of this game. It's what every cozy developer aspires to, a feeling of warmth and good-will that culminates in an amazing, emotional ending.

But mechnically, JFC, it's the most frustrating experience imaginable. Nothing quite works right, the other characters can just wander off and disappear forever, etc. It's a disaster that mires a really beautiful experience.

Playing this game was frustrating at times, but Wattam is definitely special. Takahashi's work is always special, I loved Katamari Damacy and it feels natural to love Wattam and its bittersweet story. I felt like a child once again, building a new world made of fun.
