Had TONS of fun when I had sleep overs at my friends house back in the day.

It's Battlefront with a LoTR coat of paint and it works so well. Love bringing this game up because it's criminally overlooked.

It's not a bad game, but damn does the budget show.

Hollow sound design, somewhat confusing combat, imbalanced classes, uninspired missions... Battlefront 2 (2005) this is not. The melee-focus hurts the game quite a bit, and even heroes seem underwhelming.

For my LOTR game fix, I'll stick with Two Towrs, RotK, Third Age, and LOTRO.

This was not just a cash grab, it was a completely playable game that took something like seven hours to complete. It had some music and I think also voice acting that had been taken directly from the movies. Nobody would play anything like this, but it had Lord of the Rings in it so we had to.

Only reviewing the couch/Xbox Live multiplayer from playing at a friend's house in 2010, was a very sick Battlefront 2-type game. Fun maps and roles. Want to play the campaign eventually

Do you think that orcs have hobbies? Is murder a hobby?

Takie gówno, że to hit, ale że lotr to było grane dużo

I'm sure it doesn't hold up as well today, but man, I played this just as much as the original Star Wars: Battlefront II back in the day. I absolutely adored both games.

A great idea for a game executed terribly

I like the Battlefront formula, so using it for Lord of the Rings was something I appreciated. An enjoyable game despite its various problems.

I love this, it's fun. I replay it very often. I still have my old account's trophy data, I beat it for the first time in 2011! I'd say I've replayed it probably two dozen times or so since then. It's easy dopamine for me.

might hurt if your here for some sort of super accurate game but no this one is just plain fun like a game should be (and the only game you fucking destroy saruman by being a hobbit)

This game is insanely cool. A must play for anyone who'd call themselves a "gamer"
