I would adore sister location for everything it does in terms of story and animatronics and adding to the lore and all that but, Jesus Christ Scott, why did you make every single aspect of this game so incredibly hard. Night 2 is a pain in the ass, everyone knows about Night 4, the Circus Baby minigame is nearly frame perfect, I died more times entering the code on Baby than I care to admit, and the Ennard fight is unreasonably skewed against the player. Scott, I love you but wtf bro
Sister Location provides an updated sense of scale to the proceedings of these once one-room/building locations into a fully established environment to roam through (in a mostly linear fashion) and interact with distinctive minigames. Professional voice actors lends the also expanded narrative an added sense to its humor and rising horror, though the monologues can go on for way too long. That said, the pitiful checkpointing between obnoxious sequences and an alternative ending sequence dilute the experience which is already draining enough as Cawthon spends more effort than is necessary in making FNAF the Afton family drama instead of the compelling nightmare that is Fazbear Entertainment and its various establishments. Custom Night is a neat addition despite my lack of interest in playing it. Overall, Sister Location finds increased effort with decreasing dividends for its players outside the novelty of its mechanics.
