Edna & Harvey: The Breakout is made in the style of a classic point n click game, with witty characters and moon logic puzzles. But that doesn't make it a bad game, rather the opposite!

The gameplay is easy to get into, at least if you have played other point n click adventures in the past. From what I understand there are also no dead ends, and if you get caught in some sections it is not instantly game over - instead you are just brought back to a specific area (a mechanic that is even necessary to get back to certain areas of the game). The graphical design is very colorful and might look bad to some but it definitely has its charm. The English voice acting is pretty decent, however I would assume the original German one is even better.

The story is laid out much like any point n click adventure - you start at point A, you have a goal and you progress through the area to reach your goal. The main characters are likable, and so are the NPCs. The story is interesting, and you definitely want to find out what happened to Edna and how she ended up in this place.

I recommend this game for any point n click fan, both veterans and newcomers! Daedalic's point n click catalogue has definitely become a staple in the genre, much like LucasArts and Sierra has in the past. I hope they continue with them, and even releases a sequel starring the power duo of Edna and Harvey!

Cool setting and story, the puzzles fells incomplete in some way

Este juego está hecho en Java me estás escuchando que está hecho en Java y yo ahora mismo estoy pegando botes sobre la encimera.

Something nobody talks about is that this game is basically an adaptation of two Robert Cormier novels ('I Am The Cheese' and 'The Bumblebee Flies Anyway') or at least it's very similar to them. Pretty OK, some puzzles were a bit much. Played the remastered version.

Great, fun point & click adventure. Could use a technical update
