five nights at freddy's oh my god this game blew up. when i was a kid i would play this with my cousin and friends not understanding how the game worked at all and tried to progress by any means possible. i remember the hype of everyone trying to beat 4/20 mode and watching live streams to see who would do it first. i was 11 years old then and now i'm 20 and i was able to complete 4/20 mode myself pretty easily with the methods we have now. from the living tombstone song to the fnaf movie finally being made, i love the fnaf franchise and it's always a cool feeling coming back to see where it all started
The best in the series BY FAR. I think this is what an indie game should do. An intriguing story hidden in the game, a nice mix between an arcade game and a horror game with simple mechanics and the best ambience in the series only tied with FNAF 4.
The problems that I encountered playing this: the horror in the game dissapears when you die 3-4 times (until you meet golden freddy) and the most important flaw: the game forgets to tell you how to stop freddy. I died countless times trying to figure out how to stop freddy because the phone guy doesn't explain to me how to stop it, and I needed to search how to do it in YouTube.
Overall, it's just a good arcade game, not the "god of horror games" that kids like for whatever reason. Sadly this is the best game in the series as I said, it just goes downhill without brakes after this.
