five nights at freddy's oh my god this game blew up. when i was a kid i would play this with my cousin and friends not understanding how the game worked at all and tried to progress by any means possible. i remember the hype of everyone trying to beat 4/20 mode and watching live streams to see who would do it first. i was 11 years old then and now i'm 20 and i was able to complete 4/20 mode myself pretty easily with the methods we have now. from the living tombstone song to the fnaf movie finally being made, i love the fnaf franchise and it's always a cool feeling coming back to see where it all started

el inicio de una de mis sagas de videojuegos favoritas chef kiss, juego de "terror" simple y entretenido, gracias Scott <3

This is a very special game to me, Love this game and the entire franchise

FNAF 1 is a solid horror game, but what I really enjoy about it is the resource management aspect. It stops being scary after like the 3rd jumpscare you get, but the gameplay is incredibly fun to me.

Finally played this as a joke and oh shit I actually can kinda see how this game left a permanent mark on pop culture, it is legitimately kind of terrifying, until you die, then it’s pretty boring.

The game that started a legacy
I was fascinated with this when it first came out, like every young teen in the early 2010's

Not scary. lore is mid. Overhyped. Corny. Points for childhood nostalgia

the og will always be good idc

I just watched Mark applier play this, but it seeeeeemed pretty nitto

This is one of those games you grow up with and then replay years later and question how it created this famous franchise cause it’s really just alright, still fun every once in awhile

the first jacking off while playing game type game

Esperava bem mais por conta do fandom que diz as melhores coisas sobre esse jogo.

how the fuck did we get here

but yeah honestly i can appreciate this game for its significance to the genre overall but i do not think it has aged super well in light of its relatives or even literally the game that comes directly after it.

Genuinely terrifying at first and then it just gets frustrating near the end

My god, is this game easy. Once you learn the basic strat of looking left right and checking cam, you've basically won. It can be scary sometimes, and by sometimes, I really only mean some of the time.

Decent game

The best in the series BY FAR. I think this is what an indie game should do. An intriguing story hidden in the game, a nice mix between an arcade game and a horror game with simple mechanics and the best ambience in the series only tied with FNAF 4.
The problems that I encountered playing this: the horror in the game dissapears when you die 3-4 times (until you meet golden freddy) and the most important flaw: the game forgets to tell you how to stop freddy. I died countless times trying to figure out how to stop freddy because the phone guy doesn't explain to me how to stop it, and I needed to search how to do it in YouTube.
Overall, it's just a good arcade game, not the "god of horror games" that kids like for whatever reason. Sadly this is the best game in the series as I said, it just goes downhill without brakes after this.
