Man the webslingers weren't so peak man I miss them everyday and the tents too such a cool feature i wish they kept and ofc the thing i wished they kept the most was klombo i miss that cutie patootie cant wait to see him in Lego them but yeah I don't have much to say just great season to start a chapter with battlepass a 10/10 just cus of spidey like c'mon I remember Ind w the trailer leak so me and my friend decided to watch it together dawg when spiderman popped up i got so lour my momma thought i hurt myself like such good times man

This was quite fun, I remember playing with some friends around this time, and I found the Spider-Man mythic swinging incredibly fun, and they did that item amazingly.

The battle pass was also alright, not the best, but I remember grinding for Spider-Man. Besides that, the lootpool was really good, the map was cool, and I liked this as a new chapter season, I think it was much better than Chapter 2 Season 1, which I despised.

The game was really fun in this season, I loved the water effects, the tents, and being able to chop down trees, and these are features I do hope return some time.

Overall: 7/10

retroactively reviewing previous seasons post c5s1

Definitely the weakest season in Chapter 3. The new island was great! A nice mixture of new and old locales, but in retrospect, none really felt terribly iconic at the beginning, as later seasons added my favorite Locations (Reality Tree, Rave Cave).

The introduction of the Spidey Gloves in this season has been a curse and a boon. One of the best swinging mechanics in any game ever. It feel so good to move through the air with them. On the other hand the continual repackaging/reintroduction of them within Fortnite: BR, is annoying. Having a dude swing in out of no where and then blast ya, then leave is majorly annoying.

Kept on with this guilty pleasure with friends since Chapter 2. Not as exciting a map as Chapter 2 was, but still a lot of fun and was our go-to multiplayer for a while. New movement mechanics and zero-build help even the playing grounds a little for terrible builders like me. Best season was 2, where there were airships, tanks and battle buses with guns. Slightly embarrassed by just how much time I put in, but that's what happens when you and your friends only have a handful of go-to multiplayer games.
