Overall...

Quite possibly one of the best co-op games of all time

If I hear Amanda Waller or Rick Flag say Task Force X or TFX again, my brain might explode

A revitalisation to the Super Mario Bros. side-scrolling games bringing unique innovative gameplay sequences to life. The game's condition is prestine in it's delivery. From audio to visual, each facet is given great attention and overall it's nothing short of what I expect from a Nintendo game. The expressive animations and colourful creative use of backgrounds push the game ahead of it's predecessors, and of course, the wonder flowers that immerse you into all the new gameplay sequences, are always a joy to hunt for and experience. The lack of boss encounters and variation disappoints me here most of all. Having introduced a key feature, the wonder flowers, and not properly utilsing them feels like a waste of potential. The map and all the areas are vibrant and beautiful in their creation though some areas felt heavily imbalanced with the amount of levels. This prompted me to think there could one more story section post defeating Bowser as a surprise which Nintendo have done in many previous games. That did not happen here which did leave me a little disappointed but that is from my own expectation.

Super Mario Bros. Wonder is an easy recommendation to all Nintendo Switch players and it will most likely appear in many top 10 Switch games once it's life cycle comes to an end.
