Bro idk what else to say, this shit is embarrassing. Even after all the Alpha games, NG, 2nd Impact, 3rd Strike and Revival, Capcom decided once again to release a game with BS AI. It’s weird too, since in the first round they mostly stand around and do jack-shit, but all of a sudden in the 2nd round they act like SSF2T AI and fuck you up. I would actually prefer to play SSF2T over this, atleast that game straight up tells you “yeah don’t even try, it’s GGs”, this one gives you false hope. Also, the default difficulty setting is Very Easy, and I was still struggling. Fuck off, Capcom. I know my worth.

I wouldn’t be suprised if this game didn’t do too well in Arcades, but on the PS2, they made a really smart decision and added in Street Fighter II: The Animated Movie in the Gallery mode. I know this isn’t Letterboxd, but fuck it I wanna write some more so this is a movie review now.

SF2:TAM is WAY too overhated. Mofos on Letterboxd think they’re cool analysing movies for hidden meanings and shit. Personally, all I care about is being entertained. If I’m not enjoying my viewing experience, then I wont like the movie. SF2:TAM hardly has any meat on its bones, simply, its 100 minutes of buff men beating eachother up with brief dialogue in-between. It is fucking great.

The movie boasts some excellent animation and well thought out fight sequences, the ones that stand out most to me are probably Ryu vs Fei Long, and Chun-Li vs Vega (if anyone knows what music was playing in the background of that scene, pls link it that song is fire).

Now, I just need to mention that I hate anime. The fact it went mainstream is an event worse than the black plague. Once I found out this was an anime, my expectations were really low, but thankfully, I enjoyed it! The only other animes I like are One Punch Man and Akira, so the list is pretty small. Good movie. I have more in-depth review of this movie on my Letterboxd btw, I nearly cried while typing it. It’s truly my magnum opus.
