One of the rawest games i’ve ever played tbh. Enjoyable characters between shou, isamu and X. As an arc system works enthusiast the gameplay and the mechanics clicked with me off rip so I found myself having a lot of fun with the combat. This plus a banger soundtrack makes for one of my favorite releases in recent history ☝🏾
now that the pc port is fixed the only thing i can criticize the game for is lack of online training , other than that its easily one of, if not arc sys’ best title(s)
other than the matchmaking issues on the pc port at launch, this game has almost every feature you could ask for in an FG

Easily the most diverse cast in terms of gameplay in any ArcSys game , banger music, endless possible offensive/defensive interactions, coolest looking combos in FGs imo, many movement options and extremely nuanced mechanics that allow for lots of variance in gameplay. Only thing is that the games learning curve is almost too steep, definitely requires pretty crazy hours in training mode to reach a high level. This is what turns off many new players but if you can stick with the game it feels very rewarding to see yourself improve over time
could've been the best pokémon game if it had better starters
