masterpiece of a game but I can't give it a 5 because the speed at which leon runs brings the experience that much lower and the gameplay length waaaay higher.

there's so much potential and charm here but the physics are atrocious and the level design too. feels like whoever made it didn't even bother play testing it. avoid it unless you're a sonic fan.

this is the most VN on VNDB which is the reason i delved into it. This makes no sense to me as it's definitely not the best but also extremely unfriendly to beginners.

Level design bangs. Best new super mario bros. isn't even a new super mario bros.. Just wish luigi wasn't slippery at all and just had the extra long jump so this would be much less frustrating.

One of the most immersive, addictive, charming games ever. While the first and second games were amazing in their own right, the level of polish this entry has in terms of production value and story raises it quite a bit more above them.

It's really sad how every DSiware game is regarded as shovelware because Nintendo made exclusively ass for it. This however is pretty impressive on all fronts especially for the hardware.

The low reviews on this are really weird as this is a pretty great port of ketsui that controls great and is welcoming even to newer players. The shmup to get on a handheld for sure.

Most interesting to note is that this is one of the highest rated games on metacritic by user score (probably bots). Good little game with superb mechanics and music. Feels like a tech demo for ketsu death label tho which is likely the best shmup on a handheld ever.

I don't usually replay games but i felt like playing Mario. This game is better and more satisfying than I remember. It's flawed as the level design is good but not memorable and the coin theme is very satisfying but overall useless. That said, it still feels GOOD.

Banger soundtrack, godlike art, funny and charming. You definitely get your money's worth.

Huge banger on all aspects. Addictive and ages like wine. Just wish it didn't look like a GBA game in 2006.

I can't believe this game is 17mb. Unbelievable. Wish the story wasn't ass.

The platforming on this is straight up immaculate. Love this from start to finish. Wish more people appreciated the simplicity.

This sequel is divine. Music is beautiful and gameplay mechanics go hard. Platforming feels much much better too.

There's so so much to adore about this game: the very genuine melancholic tone that I haven't seen much of in any other media, Lenneth, the excellent pixel art and the satisfying unique combat. There's some really hateable things too, however. for example, the special attack animations last so long I instinctively pull out my phone to check messages every time I do them, the difficulty and easiness spikes are sometimes so outrageous, it's almost funny. the pauses in-between character lines is so long, it breaks the pace and kinda ruins the immersion.
