Okay I won't deny this is a guilty pleasure game. It was rushed, not all story beats make sense, and the protagonist has about as much personality as a log with a face. With that out of the way, I absolutely adore this game. Every character is multi-layered, with engrossing backstories and motives. Supports are also a fantastic way to see characters interact, and ensure that Byleth(the aforementioned log) doesn't hamper down every character interaction. This game's lore is also surprisingly well-written, and adequately summarizes the motives of characters such as Edelgard, Rhea, and the Church as a whole. There isn't much more I can say, I just inexplicably find this game charming and unique.
