Competitive Pokemon battling without all the monotony. Fun in short bursts with Pokemon you like but I wouldn't obsess over the meta, random battle is also really fun & accessible.

Duel sim itself is not the problem, but just the current state of Yu-Gi-Oh! in general. Quick & responsive, doesn't take long to find matchups.

Dueling sim itself is fine, just not a fan of Yu-Gi-Oh! in its current state. Can't change nickname which stinks, but finds matchups quickly.

Decent game that gets boring very quickly, meant for sort bursts downtime when out & about.

Cash grab game, gets very boring quickly

Another predatory mobile game of the microtransactions era.

Another predatory mobile game of the microtransactions era.

Fun in the early days, but quickly became a cash grab mess just like regular Yu-Gi-Oh!.

Constantly bothers you to purchase microtransactions, used to be fun on the go.

Was fun for a bit during lockdown, but runs dry fast.

Gameplay is more of a novelty than something engaging.

Great RPG from the early 2003's with a great ancient Egypt aesthetic. You can tell this game was rushed due to lack of dungeons & mid boss fights, but the final product is still a solid title with plenty of fun to have. PC version is great and there are many mods to restore the unfinished dungeons into the game.

The RPG elements are very mid and are just there for context, it's a decent mobile Yu-Gi-Oh! sim from back in the day.

Like many PSP games, the promises of console level games on the go comes up short. It's a decent game if you don't take it too seriously, but a fighting game like this is meant for arcades and home consoles.

Fine for casual gameplay, but inferior experience compared to SoulCalibur on arcades & home consoles. Due to the nature of fighting games, you'll likely abandon this entry in favor of sinking time into a fully realized SoulCalibur title.
