Never i had played such indie game that manages to borrow the best of FromSoftware's ever acclaimed Dark Souls series and then take advantage of a properly curated environment which leads to the creation of what could be one of the best 3D indie soulslike ever made, which is also a loose adaptation of Carlo Collodi's Pinocchio.

So basically, one of the biggest things that led me to buy this game is the way how it disposes various features of customization of your build. Other than having the classic weapon upgrade systems borrowed from FromSoftware's action RPGs, there is a varied assortment of customization features such as changing your weapon's blade and mount, customizing your left arm (which replaces the ability of utilizing weapons and shields, instead you can only equip up to two weapons to use), and equipping a grindstone.

The story is, well, much more simple than you'd think, and unlike most soulslikes, you directly get to experience a clear one so you don't have to willingly look at the flavor texts of each item to piece together a puzzle. Lies of P talks about the frenzy of puppets that took over the roads of Krat, a city built over the presence of Ergo. However, things start to slowly make sense as not all seems right from the beginning. You are forced to make decisions through lies or truths which will influence the ending you will get.

What else i liked about this game is the way certain areas have a dynamic presentation to introduce a feeling, but one minor thing (it may be just me) i had problems with is the way certain animations played out during boss fights.
