It's honestly no contest that this is my favorite Shovel Knight campaign. It's so fast paced and fluent, the atmosphere is dark but never suffocating with plenty of levity, Specter Knight is a joy to control, and the challenge is perfect. It just hits all the right notes for a great action platformer.
