It's a perfect recreation of the high school experience, complete with that one friend who's really homophobic for no apparent reason that makes you look back and think "wow that guy really was a massive cunt why did I hang out with him" except everyone is homophobic including you

Tbh im looking forward on playing this for the homophobic stuff. Seems that finally some big ass japanese jrpg is recognizing that gay people exists besides 2 optional lines in a 200 hour bible that if you are lucky maybe were even kept in the translation.
If this review ever gets to 100 likes I will drop a fact about Persona 4 Golden that I don't think anyone has actually mentioned on the internet until now

This review has hit 100 likes, so as promised here is the as yet undocumented fun fact about Persona 4 Golden:

"Funky Student" is a character who spends the entire game occasionally giving you riddles while talking in a way that I refuse to describe in any other way than it feeling a bit racist.

During Quest 64: "Riddle Senpai's Encore", once you accept the quest he says:
This riddle's so parabolic, the energy'll blow you over even if you're brolic!

To my knowledge, this line is exclusive to the English translation of the game, released in November 2012. This line is also seemingly a direct reference to a lyric off of the Childish Gambino song R.I.P. off of his "Royalty" Mixtape, specifically from Bun B's verse

Now, take that with a grain of salt because I don't have direct confirmation, but it feels way too similar to be parallel thinking, especially when the translation would have most likely been worked on when the mixtape released in July of 2012.

Thank you for 100 likes.
