if games don't age then explain why every WRPG more than 10 years old looks ugly as shit
if you dont think games "age" check out those tekken 1 cutscenes. can barely tell its 3D graphics from 30 years ago
@PKMudkipz simple, they always looked like shit
Also why is this post getting so much traction? Did someone post it on twitter or something?
"trust me bro, the game didn't age, it was just ALWAYS considered bad"
headcanon used by the ignorant to deny the phenomenon of games aging

Games "aging" is literally a CIA psyop
Im sure these answers are meme bait, but I guess you just consider games "aging" in the visual aspect. Games don't lose inherent value in their apperance when it's actually strong enough. Old games that look like shit deposited all their prowess on graphical horsepower than actual style; obviously a game like Tekken would look like dogshit - it always did, there wasn't something remotely comparable though, that's the difference. And even then, games with wonder graphics can still be quite strong, unless you think the Donkey Koung Country games look bad nowadays.
But you can still play old shit if you actually want to put some time onto them and look past the modern age AAA /4K-rendered 3D commodities.

Honestly I can't stand how most modern AAA games look.
the only thing saving modern AAA games from looking like shit in ten years is the fact that graphics will hardly advance in ten years. diminishing returns are hitting hard as FUCK
@CrownlessKing I just feel like a lot of modern AAA games look really boring aesthetically/artstyle wise, there are exceptions of course
Games don't age.
And, @Mur96, games don't have inherent value.
