There were two launch titles for the Mega CD and they were Heavy Nova and this game Sol-Feace. Now you may be wondering why didn't I play Heavy Nova first. Well that's because two people I follow gave it the lowest score possible, do you really think I'm in the mood to play something bad? No. So anyway, this is a Wolf Team game and I do enjoy some games from them and this one isn't too bad.

This is a fun shmup, nothing too amazing about it but if I had spent $350 for a Mega CD and then bought this game, I probably would have been like "Why did I spend money on this?" Ok enough jokes the game is cool and it's got some really good music. I wish there were more cutscenes though, the ending is so short that I thought the game blocked me from seeing the whole ending but even on Mania mode that's all you get. Pretty lame.

I do wish the game's difficulty wasn't so inconsistent. Maybe I just suck but the final boss was way easier then the boss from the previous stage to me. I really didn't like that boss. At least you don't die from touching walls and stuff, it caught me off guard when I found that out.

This game also has a Genesis port but idk how different it is. I assume it's the same game but worse music. Wait a second, Heavy Nova also got a Genesis port for the US market. What the heck, was it intentional? Hmmm, why am I even thinking about this?
