It is a perfectly serviceable JRPG with decent gameplay, but it's really nothing special. The characters are tropey and one note and the dialogue feels like it was written by Ai at times. Despite this I still enjoyed the characters and their interactions for what they were, the main plot could've been way better though. I mentioned the battle system being good but by the end it got repetitive and it ended on a very annoying final boss that felt mainly RNG dependent thanks to a move called "death rain" that can KO any party member regardless of their health. So that was annoying. My favourite thing about this game is definitely the art style, which I found quite charming. Thats why I picked this up really.
