It was ok, probably one of the weaker Nintendo exclusives I’ve played in recent times but it was fun enough. The lack of challenge didn’t bother me so much, it was more the lack of invention and creativity we’ve had from other Nintendo games. It just felt like a very by the numbers 2D platformer. The exploration side of things in each level was good though as you tried to figure out how to get to certain collectibles and hidden areas. But I just overall got more from the likes of the Yoshi games when it comes to this style of game from Nintendo.
