If Doom 3 was released on the foundation of Doom II with Brutal Doom thrown in the mix. It's a simple yet effective way to describe Prodeus. Even if it wears its influence on its sleeve, it manages to include a couple of curve ball of its own. As a retro shooter, it's hard not to recommend Prodeus.

Shooting is done right, music is awesome, boss fight are well design. If you're a metal fan, it's a no brainer... But I would say the game is solid enough to be purchase on its own right.

It's an overall fun and somewhat easy souls-like. It has a really fun setting and good graphic for an AA game. The only two major downside are the lack of enemy variety and the end of the game that just is to long for it's own good.

I really like my time with "Fashion Police Squad", it knows what it's trying to achieve and does not outstay its welcome (4 hours). It's super unique in its setting, fast pace shooter on the line of DOOM Eternal. For the price, it's an easy recommendation.

2022

It is a surprisingly good effort on the Half-Life era of FPS, I'll be honest I would like to see that developer with a better budget, because they clearly got right what made those game good back in the day.

I'm not sure if it's on purpose, but the fact that episode 3 is "coming soon" just made me laugh (I know that the DEV already confirm that it would come has DLC in the future).
