I beat Ghirahim for the last time, I went to face Demise but realised I was totally underpowered. I got stuck in the phase where Demise receives lightning powers through his sword, I just couldn’t figure out what I had to do, so I looked up the answer online. I realised that people used shields! I have on one occasion found a shield useful in battle, ONE!! So I never obviously thought about bringing something that I never had any use of...

It was a bit unsatisfactory to have to leave the fight in search of a bloody shield. I decided to get the best possible shield I could get my hands on. I went to the Bazar to buy the best one then upgrade it to its ultimate form. When I saw that the “Sacred Shield” could be upgraded to the “Goddesses Shield”, I was 100% sure that it was the “Hylian Shield”, since the Goddess could be synonymous with Hylia. I upgraded and... nope, I got some other stupid shield.

I once went online to search for answers, I googled how to get the Hylian Shield and I found out that you could get it from the lightning dragon, which actually promised to give you something in return of your heroics, which I totally forgot about but remembered exactly when I saw it.

I got the shield but I didn’t feel fully satisfactory, I thought to myself: why not just 100% the game while I’m at it. My hype will then skyrocket for the last encounter: Demise/Ganondorf(?)/Ganon(?)

Only reason for me wanting to master the game is because I love it, despite its few flaws.
