A solid open world game set in the Mad Max Universe. Great Batman Arkham style combat. Graphics still look good 9 or so years on. Nice fps boost on xbox. The story isn't anything exciting. The core gameplay loop isn't something I cared to much about. Has that ubisoft checklist type of open world. The driving is surprisingly not very good. Especially considering mad max is focused on cars. I know it's not no mclaren but fuck me the handling sucks. Overall tho its solid and definitely worth giving a go.

By no means is this a bad game but it certainly isn't amazing. The game is incredibly short and it took me, according to xbox 4 hours and 27 mins. The in game timer was roughly 3 hours and 30 mins or less. Yeah i suppose you could go for 100% achievements or trophies but to be perfectly honest i doubt that will take you much longer than 10 hours. I don't mind it being more action than horror. I just wish there were more puzzles. It's like a simple version of the 2nd games remake. I have zero desire to go back to the game since I couldn't care for achievements. If they gave it more time then it would have been better. I never played the original so I don't know what was missing. It's not as if they needed to rush it since people are down for these remakes regardless on how long they have to wait because people love resident evil.
