This game is why there's so many street fighter games logged in my Played This Year section of my account really, i wanted to chase that itch and enjoyment in the predecessors for a franchise that ive always known existed and thought was lightly fun but never sunk much time into aside from just maybe brief momentary shit with friends here and there. But i genuinely do think i get it, the single player campaign can get to be bein a sloggggg but i really love how much it embraces the silliness and arcadeyness of the series and makes something wholely fun out of it even if the plot issssssss... YEAH.
but the new characters are so cool i love lily way more than t hawk shes so fucking funny
and i love playing juri in this game way more than the previous ones shes in, shes still so fucking fun to me
jaime is also someone i adore because of my affinity towards drunken fighting style dudes in games (im not sure why but i REALLY REALLY REAAAAAAALLY LOVE IT) but I think that at the end of the day even though I prefer some characters to others.. i can just pick anyone!! literally anyone in this roster and itll be fun smacking the shit out of ppl with them! i like parrying and how satisfying supers are to doooo and its so cool
im still not exactly a street fighter superfan now or something after going through all of these shits like sessions at a time, but i really like this series and so many of the characters to the point that even Most of the ones i dont play or gaf abt even as characters.. i still think have something cool going on that gives a nice aura w/ this shit
if i had to pick at any gripes i think i wish there was just a few more stages.. and i wish akuma was base roster.. Personally.
but i guess this is the double edged sword of them trying to do the inverse of sf5 and trying to have a much fresher feeling game with a (by comparison) small concentrated roster
