Out of all the mario karts, this one truly has stood the test of time the best. Crisp controls, a lovely character cast and an amazing pool of nitro courses. Aside from mario kart 8 this one probably has the most active playerbase still despite official servers going down, probably thanks to the great modding scene as well.
