this review makes more sense now that i think about it, Episode IX is just like Dual Destinies in terms of trying to undo everything unique the prior entry (Last Jedi and Apollo Justice, respectively) did because fans hated them for being different so they stuck with something way too safe for the sake of appeasing fans instead of making a unique entry that would push their series forward
