Yeah I bought this game and tried it out 7 entire years ago and only just came back around now to actually complete it, it's like I needed the time for my brain to finish developing so I could solve these puzzles.

Being the first zachlike I've ever fully completed it's hard to compare it against the others but I think it feels the most approachable and immediately tangible to non programmers. The language of manipulating 3D objects is universal and the difficulty ramp is slow enough you can build your own catalog of useful block structures before the game throws some really hard builds at you.

If you think you're completely safe from programming I'm sorry to report by the near end of the game I figured out you can make finite state machines and this arcane knowledge from my actual engineering degree was far too useful to ignore.

This still gets a recommendation from me regardless, there's a fun story that I imagine most people never got to see even half of, and an incredible penultimate level that could be its own game.
