seriously a fantastic game; very fun tough yet arcade-y combat, amazing attention to detail and little moments that reward your curiosity, very fun writing and set pieces, great balance of surrealistic and almost comedic twin peaks-esc moments mixed with silent hill-esc psychological/resident evil action horror. chapter 3 sucked pretty bad but 4 to the end is nearly flawless and just downright fun to play. my only real complaints (having not played the extra dlc episodes yet) is the ending is a little sudden and confusing, the segments with the mounted light seems to break the enemy pathing so they stand still, and the "darkness possessed items!!" segments are just plain not fun.

it may not be some perfect masterpiece, but i feel this game has cemented itself as a classic people will be coming back to for a long time to come
