Such a good game! I wish I could have played it through multiple times, but the janitors really are the bane of my existence. So much so that I took a star off for them. BUT the students in this school are still using Windows Me... so at least I'm not them.

So much of this game was in made in poor taste. It's a beautiful game that tries its best to enrapture you, but I couldn't get over the parallels to racism in America. Which was probably the point, but David Cage really stepped out of line with the liberties he took with this game. As a non-American white man it was not his place to make these allegories. I get he maybe meant well, but yikes.

A solid pixel horror game. I was surprised at its length considering other games like it are usually less than 5 hours. I really loved the direction it took at the end! I wasn't a huge fan of the biblical and religious themes, but I still loved it! Can't wait to play it again on my PC. :)

the game is very short, but it packs a punch. it's obviously a very personal project and was made with the intention to share a very personal story. the art is gorgeous and i loved the choice in background music.
obviously the game isn't perfect. since it was so short, it felt rushed and shallow. the characters are two dimensional and you don't really get to feel a lot for them. the two you see the most (player character and May) feel like they're supposed to be mirrors. you're supposed to be able to see yourself in one of them, but it's hard when we don't get to know them.

since when you're playing with friends you all share a collective son, i like to pretend each player character is a media dad looking for their son/child. so far we have: marlin (finding nemo), ethan mars (heavy rain), harry mason (silent hill), and bryan mills (taken).

The first play through is wonderful! If you go to play again, it can get very repetitive very quickly. That being said, I've still played it through multiple times lol.
