The Puss in Boots (duology) of the Metal Gear series: Distinct from the main series in tone and structure and features a selection of comical villains. Really fast gameplay, strong visuals and high energy bosses. I would say the story is a bit weak and not as many jokes when compared to snake eater or bayonetta 1, and I find Raiden a little more interesting in MGS2 than here. If it was longer and had a more story in the middle to develop the side characters this would be a perfect experience. But for now it's still a fun time. Also I played parts of Prayer Of The Refugee during the final boss and it synched up perfectly near the end. Will get back to peace walker eventually.
Oh and shoutouts to the previous owner of my copy who kept the Gray Fox download code unused

What's the deal with mobile games trying to stalk me via youtube ads?

One of the most mid 2000s feeling games imaginable.
I started watching some random need for speed retrospective videos and it got me intrigued in trying the series out. First few hours are a blast, but man the later police chases are a drag in trying to have them last long enough. I ended up doing the bus station glitch alot near the end. Still, it kept me really invested for a good few weeks. This is a franchise I never really cared about but now I want to try out more of the series

When I was 11 I really wanted Toad to have his own game.
11 year old me would be really happy if he found out that would actually happen (albeit dismayed that he wouldn't be able to play it until nearly 9 years later it first came out).
Really well crafted puzzles, could be a little longer and I wish the 3D World levels didn't get axed.
Also why they port this to 3DS of this again?

Just realised I never logged this one.
The journey from announcement to the last dlc will go down as one of the most entertaining parts of the Switch era. I played so much throughout 2019, finally getting to use my amiibo, the music, watching the dlc reveals, everything.
Looking back I wish some of the features from the older games like target break and trophy posing could have been put to use, plus wold of light is a bit flat, but if we had to sacrifice them for all the content and music I can take it.
Sakurai could have easily decided to just port Smash 4 with a couple of tweaks and extra characters like all the other Wii U ports but he decided to go the extra mile and deliver an experience that a generation of Nintendo fans will and enjoy for years on end whilst honoring Iwata. Incredible.

"I was just wondering if you wanted to haang out with me and smoke weed and fill our belles with DIET soda and play a game made by the developers of Burnout Revenge for the PS2."

What it lacks in the high speeds of most wanted it makes up with style and presentation. This really is one of the most impressive looking games, especially given that it came out two years after Undercover. Such a nice selection of music tracks as well. I wish the time trial levels were a little less strict and locking some features behind online is dumb. But it's still a fun blast to go through. Might try out Carbon or the Run after this.

The three level demo for this is still available on Xbox 360 marketstore. It's only 6 minutes but was fun enough to almost entice me to try out the full game

I downloaded the demo on 360 for this on May 16th, just days before Smiling Friends made reference to it.
What. Were. The. Odds?

You know that one how i met your mother episode where Ted gets beat up by a goat?
This is what happened to that goat.
