Batman's been done to death, but never quite this well in video game form. Everything here is made to give you a sort of "ultimate Batman experience": the setting is classic and allows for multiple tones, from humorous to outright scary, co coexist; it also allows for Batman to encounter a buttload of foes; some will complain that the story is a little linear, but it allows the narrative to flow in a very cohesive way; the characters are done extremely well; really, the most boring thing about this Batman game is probably Batman himself, but it allows for all the side characters to shine. As blockbuster IP games go, this one is a fine example of what can be achieved when creativity meets high budget.
