When we collided

A list of games for which there is at least a 1.5-star deviation between my score and the average.
For statistical purposes, the games included should have at least 50 plays.

• My score: 1.5
• Average: 3.7

A game that doesn't know what to do with its legacy. Constantly pulled apart by opposite forces – probably Kamiya on one side, the dev team on the other. In some ways, it is a worse version of everything the media offers nowadays.
• My score: 1.5
• Average: 3.5

Although the gameplay is decent enough, it is impossible to overlook the blatant racism and conservative portrayal of the United States, especially since the game draws inspiration from Mother 2.
• My score: 1.5
• Average: 3.8

A game whose source idea is interesting, but locked within a detestable gameplay. Nomura's gimmicky approach to game design really doesn't work and the remake is especially baffling is how it never addresses quality of life issues. As much as I understand why this game is essential to so many players, the experience – especially because I have a genuine dislike for Disney franchises – was very frustrating.
• My score: 1
• Average: 3.1

It erred in its initial design. It is difficult from recover from this, especially when the A Link to the Past gameplay doesn't really allow for a smooth multiplayer experience.
• My score: 1
• Average: 3.6

Another baffling entry for Game Freak. The technical aspect of the game is still in shambles and the game enters the Ubisoft open world formula, years after it has been discarded by other studios. Pokémon Scarlet dabbles in archaisms, but without any purpose, just because it cannot do better.
• My score: 1
• Average: 3.6

A game that constantly seeks approval by throwing usual anime tropes and references to Ryukishi07's works. Some sequences are interesting and could have been expanded in a thoughtful way, but the game sticks to the general disappointing formula of mediocre visual novels.

Interesting that all of these are lower than the average. Have you not rated a game positively that most backloggd users hated?

I believe it will happen at some point, but I have not played any game in the last two years that would fit in here!
My best scores are generally quite conservative, leaving little room for dissent!
I'm really surprised Bayonetta 3 has a 3.7.
